Data Deletion

This page explains how you can request the deletion of personal data that Bicicletes Sancho, S.L. (Sancho Bikes) processes about you, in compliance with article 17 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the requirements of Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google (YouTube) platforms for connected applications.

2. How to request deletion of your data
To request the deletion of the personal data we process about you, send an email to info@sanchobikes.com stating:
- Subject: "Data deletion request".
- Your full name and, if possible, the email used when registering or booking.
- A brief description of the data you want deleted (for example: bookings, newsletter subscription, social media interactions).
- A copy of your ID, passport or equivalent document for identity verification. You may redact data not needed for identification.
You can also exercise this right by postal mail at the address in section 1.
3. Response time
We will respond to your request within a maximum period of one month from receipt. This period may be extended by another two months when the request is particularly complex or when we receive a large number of requests, notifying you in any case.
If your request meets the requirements of article 17 GDPR, we will delete your data from our systems and ask our processors to do the same on theirs.
4. Exceptions to the right of erasure
The right to erasure is not absolute. Pursuant to article 17.3 GDPR, we may retain certain data when it is necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations: in particular, tax and commercial regulations require keeping invoices and accounting records for up to 6 years (Spanish Commercial Code) and 4 years (General Tax Law).
- Formulate, exercise or defend legal claims: while the statutory time limits for possible legal actions remain open.
- Reasons of public interest or statistical purposes with anonymised data.
In such cases, we will block the data so that it is only accessible to the competent public authorities for the legal period, and definitively delete it upon expiry.
5. Data linked to social media (Meta and Google)
If you interact with our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn or X pages, part of your data is processed directly by the platform. Sancho Bikes only accesses public profile information and the comments, likes or messages you direct at us. To delete that interaction you can:
- Delete the comment, like or message yourself directly on the platform.
- Ask us to delete any copy we keep on our systems following the procedure in section 2.

6. Complaint to the supervisory authority
